The Gs, of the MCLA, at a Church

Posted on Posted in Bragging rights, Musings about Light

This past weekend, or was it two weekends ago…  I lit a GMCLA concert at the First Congregational Church of Los Angeles starring special guest Levi Kreis.  The show went off without two many hitches, except that on Sunday morning the skies opened and a torrent of rain fell on Los Angeles, causing the roof of the church to leak in several locations.  Three of those locations just happened to be where our rental booms with LED lighting fixtures were mounted to illuminate the chorus.

Thankfully we had covered the booms the night prior thinking that this might happen, and we simply cut holes for the lenses of the fixtures to poke through and made sure our cables weren’t laying in any water puddles.

The show must go on!
