You can’t see my parents’ house in this photo, but you can see the neighbor’s trees have started to turn from green to oranges and reds for Fall – I love it, and miss being there for this time of year.
I also love that the driveway is showing signs of it’s age. I remember when my parents made the big leap from gravel drive to this concrete slab. My sister and I signed our names at the very edge of the drive nearest the road, and I remember that the next day, it rained, and my dad put plastic tarps over it to keep it safe from the weather. That was over twenty years ago, and I remember it like it were yesterday.
