I took this quick photo during tech for Spring Awakening at the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts last week. It’s now in it’s second week of performances there, and I’m still crawling out of my pile of unfinished work that I was supposed to complete ages ago. Luckily, I’ve gathered together all of the tax stuff, and sent everything off to my very patient tax guy for his efforts. I left it up to him to decide if it is too late in the year, and if he might want to file an extension.
This photo is from the pivotal hayloft scene, and we had to rehearse it over and over again. I’m not sure that we ever got it “right”. But it is up, running, and audiences are enjoying it tremendously. Who am I to argue with that?
