Valley Musical Theatre produced two benefit performances called Fractured Broadway at the El Portal Theatre, asking well-known performers to sing songs written for the opposite sex, the opposite gender or other fractured interpretations of favorite works.  On a shoestring budget, the benefit happened on a bare stage with various props, ladders and stage ‘junk’ with hidden lighting fixtures to highlight the stage picture.  Lighting design by Steven Young.
